The Ford Escort RS Cosworth was a rally homologation special of the Ford Escort produced from 1992 to 1996. Designed by Steve Harper, the car was designed to qualify for Group A of the World Rally Championship. Powered by a 2.0L Cosworth YBT turbocharged inline-4, the racing version of the Escort achieved a number of victories in its years of competition.
